Ways to Boost your Energy Levels Naturally
So many of our clients ask frequently of any methods we may know of that will help them naturally boost their energy levels without the constant jitters, upset stomachs, headaches and so on that so many products effect people with. There are few different ways in which you can up your energy, the easiest one next to splashing water on your face is switching a few things up in your diet or daily eating routine. Many herbs will often boost your energy levels and are easy to add to your diet for example. Note, that sometimes it is what you do not include in your diet that gives you a boost in energy!
For instance,
digestive enzymes break down proteins, fats, carbohydrates and fiber making it possible for your body to benefit from the nutrients found in those foods. Enzymes turn the food we eat into energy and unlock this energy for use throughout the body. By the time you hit forty you have lost most of your body's natural ability to manufacture enzymes. You frequently get tired because it takes a lot of energy to digest most meals. There are two basic sources where your body receives those enzymes: Raw food consumed contains enzymes to help break down that particular piece of food. Our body also produces some enzymes, with the help of two glands the liver and the pancreas, providing the majority of digestive chemicals utilized by the gastrointestinal tract. Over cooking and processing of food destroys all or most of the enzymes found in them. The more your diet consists of raw foods like salads, the more natural energy you will be able to utilize. Since most of the foods we eat are cooked or heavily processed in some way and the raw foods we do consume contain only enough enzymes to process that particular food and not all of it, then our bodies must produce the majority of the digestive enzymes we would require to process the rest of the food we ate. For these reasons it is recommended that we supplement our diet with outside sources of enzymes. Raw food will be your best bet to achieve adding extra enzymes to your diet.
Cayenne is an herb like no other which increases your blood flow faster than any other herb around! Cayenne easily moves and distributes blood throughout the body. It is a circulatory tonic and helps improve your overall circulation. To sum that up, more blood means more oxygen racing through your body, which is a great thing to have happen! This is just what your metabolism needs throughout the day. Cayenne is a natural metabolism booster, therefore many diet supplements now add cayenne to their formulas to increase the amount of energy given to the receiver. Cayenne also supports heart health, improves the immune system and is a huge aid to the digestive system, which are overall added bonuses.
Ginseng has long been used as a total system tonic. Ginseng is most commonly used as an adaptogen, meaning it normalizes physical function depending on what the individual needs (for example, it will lower high blood pressure, but raise low blood pressure). It is also used to reduce the effects of stress, improve athletic performance, boost energy levels, enhance memory, and stimulate the immune system.
Ginseng is known as a preventative herb as well as a curative herb in the medicinal field. It is said to remove both mental and physical fatigue in those who add it to their diets. Most people who use ginseng over a two to three month period experience a sense of overall well-being, the feeling as if you are complete and stamina and say it improves both mental and physical performance. Ginseng has been said to improve erectile function in men, help relieve stress and help with stabilizing blood sugar levels for diabetics. It is a very common additive to any energy or diet product and comes in many shapes and forms on the market now.
Quick Fact:Did you know that the body spends up to 1/3 of your energy reserve on digestion and elimination?

It is now able to use some of its stored energy to fight disease and eliminate toxins in your body. By eliminating toxins the body you’re dumping them into the digestive tract to be eliminated. If the digestive tract (colon) is not clean and working well the toxins will just get reabsorbed into the bloodstream making you feel sick. Fasting, even just one day a month will help eliminate salt and sugar cravings. After a fast you are usually hungry for food that has high nutrient content, like fruit and veggies. The purpose of a fast is to allow your body full range and scope to fulfill its self-healing, self-repairing, self-rejuvenating functions to your best advantage. Fasting is probably the fastest and safest way or means of regaining health, but note that fasting is not a cure for any disease or ailment! Fasting puts the body in a state where all the vital forces of your body are being used to flush out the causes of negative toxins and the effects they take on you.
