Eating the right fats can help your immune system to recognize the bad cells that cause cancer; since it’s October- which is breast cancer awareness month I thought that an article on cancer prevention would be a good one. We have all heard that there are good fats and bad fats that we consume in our diets. Here are some of the good fats that we need be sure we’re getting enough of. Fish oil, borage or evening primrose oil, flax oil, olive oil and oils from sharks and
fish are also beneficial to our health.
Here are some other ways you can get cancer fighters into your system.
Eating cruciferous
vegetables at least twice per week will help to counteract too much estrogen you may have in your system. Brussel sprouts, broccoli and cabbage are great examples of these veggies.
Eat as little sugar as possible. Sweet drinks and too much candy can bring your blood glucose levels too high and have a really negative impact on your health. Nutritional supplements like Zinc and Chromium are also really helpful. Consuming healthy foods in conjunction with supplemental tablets are the way to go about this. There are actually seasonings that you can cook with to help your
immune system too. Cinnamon, curry powder and ginger are all high in anti oxidants to boost your immune system. Exercising will also increase your cancer fighting cells and keep your immune system where it should be for a ph balanced body and optimal health.
