Oregon Grape Extract by Herb Pharm is formulated from the young lateral roots of Mahonia (Berberis) aquifolium shrubs which are Custom Wildcrafted™ in their wild mountain habitat in the Pacific Northwest.

To assure maximum extraction of Oregon Grape's bioactive compounds, the roots are dug up by hand only in late autumn or early spring, and are then carefully shade-dried and thoroughly extracted.

Our Oregon Grape is never fumigated or irradiated.
