Pipsissewa Extract by Herb Pharm is made from fresh (undried) leaves of Chimaphila umbellata plants which are Custom Wildcrafted™ in their wild mountain habitat.

To promote conservation of wild Pipsissewa stands, we hand harvest only the uppermost leaves, which stimulates new growth and does not destroy the plants.

To assure maximum extraction of Pipsissewa's bioactive compounds, the leaves are taken directly from the field to our laboratory and are immediately extracted while still fresh and succulent.

Our Pipsissewa is never fumigated or irradiated.
